Our Mission
Having a disability or raising a child with a disability is often described as the most challenging and most rewarding experience anyone will ever have. Burden & Bloom embodies this paradox by helping individuals and families navigate the burden and celebrate the bloom. B&B seeks to aid in finding and understanding resources specifically designed for people with disabilities and their communities. They lack a centralized, user-friendly, transparent platform to access resources in their area, which adds to their challenges and prevents individuals from reaching their full potential.

We aim to hold agencies accountable with the goal of making them better to serve the communities they aim to help. Families, caregivers, and disabled individuals are modeled by relationships and the building of community. We aim to digitize this process and make it more accessible to people everywhere, publishing word-of-mouth communication and relaying information. B&B is committed to streamlining the process of joining this community, making it as seamless as possible.
